Project History
Select Work

The Dalles Dam — Fish Ladder Cold Water Intake

200-ton American crawler, 180' of boom. Built a coffer dam on the dam face from 114-ton concrete blocks, working directly with divers.

Dam Gate Replacement & Machinery House

Liebherr LR1200 on flexi-floats, 180' of boom, setting 60-ton heated dam gates on the back side of the dam and flying structural iron for a machinery house 80 feet in the air. Manitowoc 777 staged on the beach unloading gates and trucks onto material flexi-floats.

Dock Build — Concrete Deck & Fender System

Dravo 140-ton derrick on a 50x120 barge, 185' of boom, setting 30-ton precast concrete deck panels at 125' radius, plus hook work for pile bucks and carpenters. Bucyrus Erie 60-ton truck crane serviced the dock build and set the 10-ton fender system.

Bremerton Ferry Dock — Pile Replacement

Dravo 140-ton derrick pulling a 36"x130' bent pile with a 25-ton vibro hammer, tripping a 150' 30-ton replacement pile from the barge, driving 12 pile for a new dolphin, and setting a 25-ton concrete cap over the six-pile cluster.

Coos River & Swinomish Channel — Dredging

Clamshell dredged the Coos River with a 200-ton American and 12-yard bucket — 150,000 yards. Clamshell dredged the Swinomish Channel with a 50-ton American and 5-yard bucket — 80,000 yards.

I-5 Bridge over Milton Creek — Pile Driving

Link-Belt 218, 120' of boom. Fixed leads with spotter, swinging leads, vibro hammer, and hydraulic hammer. Drove a 100' pile in fixed leads with a 10' overshot for the freeway bridge.
